The egeplast SLA® Barrier Pipe (PAS 1075 Approved) safety pipe is the only plastic drinking water pipe in the world officially approved for installation in contaminated soil. A diffusion-resistant aluminium barrier layer between the outer coating and the inner PE pipe reliably prevents the ingress of pollutants. egeplast SLA® Light Barrier Pipe for Open Trench
egeplast SLA® light Barrier Pipe can be utilized for open trench installation techniques. The black core pipe made from PE100 is accredited to BS EN12201 for water or sewer. The diffusion-resistant aluminum barrier is certified to the KIWA requirements (the toughest in Europe) preventing the ingress of pollutants. The outer peelable barrier protection sleeve is produced from Polypropylene. Pipes are weldable employing Electro Fusion and or Butt Welding technologies; standard EF tapping Saddles can be used.

egeplast 9010® RCplus
The egeplast 9010® RCplus pipe is a pressure pipe manufactured from PE 100 RCplus (Resistance to Crack) with maximum resistance to creeping crack propagation. A 10% coloured outer layer is isometrically integrated to allow a precise evaluation of conformity with the max. damage of the pipe surface pursuant to the valid rules and regulations (e.g. DVS, DVGW, KRV). Particularly suitable for trench-based installation without sand bedding, as well as ploughing and milling installation.

Trenchless installation techniques place higher demands on the pipe material: the pressure-bearing pipe wall is manufactured from modern PE 100 RCplus (Resistance to Crack) materials, and this pipe also has an extremely “hard” outer shell to protect it from scratches, scoring and point loads. egeplast SLM® RCplus is essential for trenchless installation and is PAS 1075 approved.

Use of an integrated spirally wound conducting strip further enhances the already outstanding properties of the egeplast SLM® DCT pipe. In addition to diffusion resistance, the egeplast 3L Leak Control pipe also provides the option of permanent leakage monitoring and leak localisation to an accuracy of 10 cm. It is the only pipe system that fulfils the requirements on permanent leakage monitoring pursuant to ATV A 142 for Class II Water Protection Zones.

egeplast egeliner®
Trenchless rehabilitation of old or damaged pipes. The egeliner® is a polyethylene pipe that is specially thermomechanically deformed respectively folded during manufacture. The maximum length of pipe reeled on coils is determined by the diameter of the pipe. The reduction in the diameter means that the new pipe can easily be inserted into the old pipe using a winch. The recovery of the pipe is achieved by heating it with steam, which activates the memory effect of the PE pipe, returning it to its original, round shape. The new pipe will then lay close-fit to the old pipe, as an independent, statically stable pipe.
The technical department from egeplast Germany can certainly assist on site during the installation. However, this product should only be installed in conjunction with a specialized contractor that is preferably familiar with the complex installation process; special tooling is required for the installation.
